Its located in Loitoktok district, Rift valley province. The park is very famous of being the best place In Africa to get close to free ranging elephants among others. In Amboseli one has the opportunity to meet the Maasai and have a clear view of the Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National park is about 390.26 km2. Temperatures range from 20-30 degrees centigrade and rainfall from 200mm-700mm. It has 2 rain seasons; long rains- March and April, short rains-November and December.

The Masai Mara- savannah grassland with the best view of animals. This national Reserve is termed as the paradise of Wild animals. Here there is a high possibility to see the BIG FIVE animals; i.e. Elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and Buffalos. Masai Mara is very famous for the Wildebeest migration.

Tsavo East and West covers around 4% of Kenya. Tsavo East offers miles of open plains, busy grasslands and semi-arid scrubs.

The wildlife found in this park includes large herds of elephants, lions, crocodiles and an assortment of birds. The park is famous of the largest herds of Elephant in Kenya which are Red in colour as a result of spraying themselves with the rusty red soil to keep cool and deter parasites.

The park is marked with a number of rocky outcrops and volcanic hills. Wildlife found in this park includes Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Giraffes, Hippos, Reptiles, and assorted birds among others.

There are attractive geographical features like the Shetani Lava flow- you can observe the nature of the lava flow close up by walking on it.

The Chyulu hills range- volcanic system that flows deep faults in the earth.

The popular attraction is the Mzima springs located South of the Park- here you can have a cool walk along the shore and see the hippos and crocodiles swimming in the crystal clear water.
